Tonya Ratliff Family CounselorIMPLEMENTING STRUCTURE, MAINTAINING CONSISTENCY and MANAGING EXPECTATIONS combine to form what I like to call, The Three Pillars of Effective Parenting.

Tonya Ratliff is Owner and Director of Counseling for Trinity Family Counseling Center. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor, a National Certified Counselor, an Approved Clinical Supervisor, and holds a Master’s degree in Counseling from Oakland University.

Married for 25 years, Tonya and her husband have successfully launched five children into adulthood. As the mother of a blended family of his, hers and theirs, she has found working with issues related to divorce and second families to be especially rewarding.

Tonya’s specific areas of interest and expertise include parenting, blended family issues, individual insight and personal growth, all aspects of grief and loss, relationship challenges, communication, and conflict-resolution.

She has spoken in front of various groups on topics related to blended families, grief and loss, job loss, parenting and coping with ADD/ADHD.
